1. Click on &quot;File&quot;
2. Select &quot;Import Photos&quot;
3. Pick the image(s) that you want to import and then click &quot;Open&quot;
4. After you click the &quot;Open&quot; button, the &quot;Import Photos&quot; screen will appears with thumbnails.
5. On the same screen, where it says &quot;Organize&quot;, use the pulldown menu next to it, and select the last &quot;date format&quot; on the list (this format does not contain the &quot;/&quot;)
6. Click &quot;Import&quot;

This worked for me.

		<description>Yes!!! Thanks a million for posting this! I have two computers with Lightroom; one on xp and the other on Vista and could not figure out where it went wrong! This helped a lot and all is now working is it should be!</description>
