So Rene’s birthday was January 11th. To celebrate, we had a few days of events. We started with drinks and food at Red Robin… and planned to go see “Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas” for flashback night at the theater next door. Apparently, this movie has quite a cult following and the seats filled up quickly… too quick for us as we were stuck paying out bill at the restaurant. We couldn’t get any seats together, we tried to find the movie to rent (or buy) but no one had it… so Rene, Stacy, Greg, Mel and I ended up at our place and watched (most of) Dumb And Dumber.

The celebration peaked on Saturday night with a Mexican theme party at Stacy and Greg’s place. We had everything… sombreros, chicklets, refried beans, tamales, chicharonnes, carne asada, churros, flan (which I made)… oh yeah, and a midget, err, little-person. Good friends, good food, good drinks… and, like I say: Good Times!
